Went on a university trip to Bicester last week, it was so much fun! Spent far too much money, but the savings I made were so amazing. We received an information pack as well which had various press releases and news clippings of coverage Bicester has received, mostly involved Kate Middleton as she is a massive lover for Bicester and getting a good bargain! As well as shopping to my hearts content, I did actually learn quite a lot, particularly about the growing trend of bargain luxury shopping. The Bicester pack boasted that they are the biggest tourist attraction outside of London; and to me this shows a few things 1. There is a REAL global market for off price luxury goods 2. British style and shopping is a lot more sought after than I perhaps had understood but also, most importantly 3. The items at Bicester are in most cases a year old, so this means that these frequent visitors to Bicester aren’t that bothered about being on trend fashion forward, but are more likely to be shopping for well constructed products at more affordable prices, it’s not about being a label whore, it’s about style and wanting a bit of bang for your buck.

Any who, I am taking my mum and sister to Bicester soon, so I can spread the bargain shopping love.

2 Ralph Lauren Home Diffusers, one in grapefruit spritz and the other in fresh linen. They smell amazing, and I LOVE them. I was going to buy some Ralph Lauren slippers, but my friend talked me out of it, but I think I will buy them when I go to Bicester with my mum and sister in the next few weeks, I hope they’re still there!

2 Pandora Charms, one for my best friend which was a spacer which looked like a nut, as in a nut and bolt. And a green glass one for myself. I’ll upload a photo of mine!

An Origins ‘zero oil’ skin toner, i am a massive fan of origins and it’s a lot cheaper in Bicester. Wish I’d brought more in the cosmetics store now though, they had Mac, Smashbox, Clinique and basically all the big brands selling items for up to 70% off.
